 R.100 airship designed by Barnes Wallis and built at Howden's Airship Station is the subject of a town trail. 

At Howden the Civic Society have managed to win the funding to complete an airship trail through the Market Place. There are 25 paving stones inlaid into the stones.Telling the story of the R.100.

The Trail will go from the Co-op in the Market Place to the Manor House a length of 216 metres.Which was the length of the R.100.

Howden R-100 Airship History Trailis now opened and the public can now walk the length of the R.100 airship.
